First Orientation dive in the quarry. Temperature of air and water - cool. Saw a wreck of a white car.

    Bass Lake

Whole new meaing to low vis dive. I was oiterally ontop of the bus before I saw it. Antoinette was too light at the end of the dive, she was there one minute then gone. I indicated to Wilson we ascended and found her on the surface ~2.5 meters away.

    Salt Pier

Underwater, the pier’s pillars transform into majestic living works of art encrusted with colourful sponges and corals. The big attraction is the sheer volume of fish that take refuge in the shadows created by the pier overhead. This site is amazing for photographers, the prettiest macro and wide-angle shots are made at Salt Pier. This is where Wilson discovered the shrimp that lives in the anemone.

    Salt Pier

Can only dive at this site if the boat is not docked. Easy entry, difficult exit due to wave action. Entered South Side of the pier on Flavia's recommendation. Swam along the surface for a short while then descended, almost immediately we spotted a turtle swimming along the sandy bed. Continued to 2nd structure then moved from South to North. When we reached the 2nd structure on the North side we returned along the same route until we reached the same start point, took a heading and headed in shore.
