    Paquita

Swam along rope in bay round to wreck. Did 4 sweeps of wreck before returning to shore. Dropped down to anchor and bottom of channel during dive. Spotted: 2 x shy sharks, octopus, nudibranchs, musselcracker, steenbras, stingray, school of about 30 squid. Wreck teaming with fish life like I've never seen before!

    Mv Pacific Gas

Best dive I've done in PNG! Descended down shotline to the bow of the MV Pacific Gas. Swam along the deck down the port side to the stern & returned along the starboard side. Stern at 40m (deck level). Saw large school of mangrove jacks swimming around the bridge area. Also, beautiful corals all over the ship. On return, dropped down into the cargo hold at the bow and saw the biggest moray eel I have ever seen in my life! https://indopacificimages.com/papua-new-guinea/complete-guide-to-port-moresby/papua-new-guinea-port-moresby-dive-sites-mv-pacific-gas/ https://www.michaelmcfadyenscuba.info/viewpage.php?page_id=354

    Hiri Chief

My first ever dive without fins - I left them at home! Pulled myself down the anchorline to the deck. Took some photos before Chris appeared with a fish on a spear. He was already out of air due to a bad fill so headed for the surface. He left his fins with me so I swam the length of the ship and back again. Hiri Chief is lying on her port side. I entered the cargo area but it was very dark so I didn't hang around. Entered the wheelhouse, took a load more photos and then headed to the surface.
