Diving from the center of the quarry. I didn't have a mask on, and thought that I could handle the cold. After the first thermocline, I decided to continue with the group. Once we hit 75 feet, you could actually see the second thermocline. As soon as I went under the second thermocline, the cold hit me like a punch in the face. I immediately added some air into my BC and headed for the surface. I followed the group to the wreck, by watching the bubbles on the surface. I then descended at the wreck to meet up with the group. We then had some fun with air bags; lifting the wreck, and some trash on the platform.

This is an old Tugboat that was recently found, and is now used by U.S. Navy divers for training. Once I hit bottom, there was a lonely Barracuda that swam right by me. I continued towards the wreck, but then I saw a squadron of 4 Eagle Rays. I decided to leave the group to get some nice pics. After about twenty minutes of following the Ray's, I re-grouped. The wreck was on it's side; which made it fun to swim through and take some cool pics. - Barracuda - 4 Eagle Rays - Trigger Fish - Crown of Thornes
