Having been lucky enough to learn to dive somewhere (very!) hot, I've since been converted to UK diving... In the last few years I've been lucky to have dived all across the Med and in a few other extic locations :) hopefully more to come!

2009-04-07 西班牙 Majorca & Cabrera Islands
Malgrats PuntaBuddied w/ Beth. Much smaller group, just us, X & Rodolfo (leader). Great dive :) over the drop off from 12 to 20ish m, loads of life, primarily under rocks! Same fish as before, plus a Great Rock Fish (under a rock!!), more octopus, huge moray eels, a cigalis (Cape Town lobster), langoustine, spiny lobster, barracuda, 2x John Dory, dentex, more nudibranch of various colours/shapes, more bream, picarel, cardinal fish, damsel fish... The usual! Suit didn't leak again :) cool end, swimming out away from the wall into the blue at about 5m. Great finish to 3 good days diving :)

2009-04-11 Gibraltar New Location
S.S. ExcellentLarge wreck of steel steamship/transport from Malta - Gib, broke free& sank off the Mole. Just like diving in the UK! Not great vis but enough life to make it interesting. Wreck is upside-down but fairly intact. Large shoals of small fish, colourful fan corals, an octopus in a hole, loads of beautiful nudibranch, very weird round sea pens, actinothoe (anemomes), sea fans.

2011-08-14 越南 Nha Trang
Debbie's BeachW/ Anh, Laurent & German chap again. Great dive despite headache! V marked thermocline at 12m - below was cold & v murky; worse than UK! Down to 20m, not a lot to see. Back up above the line... wow! Amazing vis, beautiful blue sea & loads of fish. I spotted a flying gurnard (winged!) & Anh was great as usual, pointing out all sorts. Best dive yet :) Headache bad so sat out the 2nd dive.

Madonna RockLast dive in Viet Nam :( Once again w/ Anh, Laurent & Volker. Lots of life among the rocks & less time over the sand. I spotted some v big (12cm?) nudibranch & Anh found me an octopus! Hurrah!! Amazing camoflage amongst the rocks & he was BIG. Good fun doing the swim-throughs again. Also saw a couple of white-mouthed moray, harlequin sweetlips (adult & baby), & the usual mix of butterfly, anenome, lizard, goat, lion, puffer & box fish! Great dive to finish on :)
