ShiprockGreat dive. Saw bubble cave, 2 pineapple fish, many leather jackets, rockfish, wall overhang. Corals.

Bare Island EastBare Is left side. Headed south on shallow side. Saw giant cuttlefish fish. Giant grouper. Small stingray. Nice overhangs. Great channel coming back heading north.

Long Bay SouthWe’re going to go to Lurline bay, but slight waves there. Entered at the slippery boat ramp. Mostly 3m depth, eventually getting deeper past the pool in the middle. Good boulders there. Saw large grouper. Large octopus eyes hiding behind urchin shell. Rainbow colour wrasse. Picked up many golf balls & urchin shells.

Mahon PoolGeared up and walked down to entry point. Turn on Doron's air - his tank is empty! I end up diving on my own, while Doron waits on the surface. Find the channel heading East at about 6m - find my BCD is not connected, so resurface to be able to push pipe in. Go back down and follow the channel East. Great vis. See large Groper, see overhangs on N. and S. Channel walls. Keep on East to 17m. Big kelp bed, vis. Getting worse. Turn around to go back at 70bar. Exit point is a bit wavey. Doron indicates south of the pool is easier exit.
