Big Daddy
I began diving in 1978 while still in high school, and dove pretty often for about 5 years. Sadly life provided a longer than planned surface interval. Now, after raising two beautiful daughters that are both divers I have begun again to enjoy this incredible sport. Recently completed both Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air through PADI, and am beginning to work on my Rescue Diver. I prefer the temps of the Carribean waters, however I also enjoy both lake & quarry diving too. Looking forward to earning both my PADI Divemaster and NAUI Technical Diver licensees as I plan to continue diving as long as life allows!

2009-12-23 墨西哥 Cozumel
Punta TunichAnother shark found - 3 footer sleeping on sandy bottom - saw him between some coral. Several more turtles, a couple of very large ones. And a very large moray eel. Beautiful dive.

1978-03-29 巴哈马 Andros Island
Small Hope Bay LodgePassed classroom and pool tests and time, but all the lakes in Chicago area still forzen for winter. John (Sony) Liston (my divemaster) sent along all the needed paperwork so that I could dive with instructors while in the Bahamas, put some hours in underwater and then take final later in the spring back home. Brendal and Scott took me into the shallows to run their own checkout before we headed out into deeper water. Beautiful dive with lots of coral & fish. Had some trouble clearing ears, but believ that is because it was shallow and a little surge. Im hooked!

2009-12-23 墨西哥 Cozumel
Tormetos Reef Cozumel, MexicoCoral & fish were beautiful . . . as always in Cozumel. Loads of color and life - and the reef overall appears even more alive than last year.

2012-12-22 墨西哥 Cozumel
Palancar GardensStarted dive at 75', while swimming in and around the coral we would move up & back dawn as much as 20-25', so we fluctuated between 50-75'. Boat was Renegade - w/ Matu again. Very strong winds and current with white caps. Too much wave action to get around the cruise ship point (outside of reef protection) until got the goahead from captain. Beautiful dive.
