El fluorodiving

by Victor Masmitjà Prieto on April 08, 2015

The Dive that Never Was

by Shelley Collett on January 13, 2014

In a previous post I talked about a dive that I probably shouldn't have done.  I did learn from that mistake though, and made wiser choices in the future. Adrenaline junkie though I am, I have learned how to evaluate a situation better and take calculated risks. And while I enjoy and thrive on facing my fears, sometimes the fear wins. PADI:OW - Open Water Dives

by Paul Smart on September 07, 2013

What a fabulous day! So having car issues meant I was up and out the door at 0700hrs this morning and on a bus then train.

Fun times but at the Dive Centre by 0905hrs. Great!

We did a gear check! I was given a weight harness, which I have never used before and it was super! I would love to get one, even at £85! Was very comfortable to wear, especially with 12KG in the belt and 6KG in the BCD.

The BCD (Scubapro T-Force) was brilliant by the way! I mean seriously good! Very comfortable and a pleasure to wear.

I decided to put my Scubapro Regs in for a service today to get rid of the slight leak they have. They may also sort the dry diaphragm too! ...

Input on a month-long dive trip in Sept.

by Sean on November 19, 2012

Leaving out of Los Angeles some time in September:

Week 1: YapWeek 2: Palau

Week 3: Australia (GBR / Great Barreer Reef)

Week 4: Christmas Island (CI)

Week 1+2 will be with a dive club (SCDCIE.ORG...unless I find a cheaper rate) but I'd like to extend my trip in the region to include a stop in Australia and hopefully hit Christmas Island (or some other islands in this area...suggestions?) before making my way back home most likely via Hawaii.

I was curious if anyone had any suggestions as to a liveaboard to use in Australia as I've been told by some fellow divers that this is the best route to go versus doing a trip out to the reef every day. ...
