Die zweite Woche war ich auf Mahe, am Beau Vallon. Tauchen mit den Blue-Sea-Divers. Problematisch war, dass die Briefings nur in Französisch gehalten wurden, zum Clück reichte mein bescheidener Wortschatz aus, das Wichtigste mitzubekommen und auch noch einem jungen Spanier dann auf Englisch zu verklickern ;) Die TG selbst waren aber Klasse, tolle UW-Landschaften und die Guides gaben sich jede Mühe, uns die schönsten Stellen zu zeigen. Und endlich hab ich auch eine Schildkröte in der Tiefe gesehen (sonst nur beim Schnorcheln ... :) ).

A good club in Seychelles
Nice club, ideally situated on Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles. French & English spoken. Serious people, e.g. professionals. Well organized, friendly. Security is their first concern, they do pay attention. The founders are Europeans (France, Switzerland, Belgium... I can't remember this detail). But a large part of the team is local : several yound people from the island are trained to become professional dive masters, which is - to me - a positive way of doing business. Two minors cons: - the equipment is somewhat old. They take care of it, so no security issue here, it just doesn't look very recent. - the terms of contract in termes of responsability are outrageous. I guess this may be the case in many diving clubs, I can't tell, I have not enough experience. Basically, you're 100% responsible for anything that could happen, including equipment failure - which appears ridiculous to me. However, I spend a GREAT week diving with them, and I do recommand this club because they're serious and nice people.
